Key specifications of the Sony Xperia 5 V as revealed by Geekbench
Yesterday, Sony announced that the Xperia 5 V will be shown off for the first time on September 1. A Sony device with the model code XQ-DE54 and what are thought to be the Xperia 5 V’s key specifications has turned up on Geekbench. The company has not yet disclosed any details about the smartphone’s features, but the details have been leaked online.
The XQ-DE54 comes pre-installed with Android 13 and a memory capacity of 8 GB. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC serves as the device’s primary processor. Although this has not been verified, there is a possibility that there will be additional RAM options. According to a listing on Geekbench, the only currently known specifications for the Xperia 5 V are that it will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM. This information was obtained from the listing.
In addition to this, it was confirmed that the device will be able to support fast charging at 33 watts. The XQ-DE54 scored 2,004 points in the single-core portion of Geekbench and 5,059 points in the multi-core portion of the test. These results are on par with those obtained by a few of the other smartphones that we tested with Geekbench.
While we wait for Sony to reveal more information about the device, you can get a glimpse of the Xperia 5 V’s design by watching the promotional video that was accidentally leaked online.
