Huawei has just released the Mate 60 5G and Mate 60 Pro 5G in China. Many Huawei backers anticipated that the Mate 60 series would be unveiled at a launch event. Huawei Mall (Vmall) was used to announce the devices rather than a press conference. There have been rumors that Huawei will unveil new products like the Mate 60 Pro+ 5G and the Huawei Mate X5 foldable phone at a launch event in September. Without holding a formal launch event, Huawei has also unexpectedly followed suit and listed these products on the Huawei Mall. Features, specifications, and pricing for the Mate X5 are outlined below.

The 6.4-inch OLED LTPO screen on the Huawei Mate X5’s front side features Kunlun glass, an aspect ratio of 20.9:9, a resolution of 2504 x 1080 pixels, and a touch sampling rate of up to 300 Hz. It has a 7.85-inch foldable OLED LTPO display on the inside, with a maximum touch sampling rate of 240 hertz and a resolution of 2496 x 2224 pixels. Both screens also accommodate a refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz, 10-bit colors, the P3 color gamut, and high-frequency dimming at 1440Hz. A fingerprint scanner is located on the device’s side for added safety.

The Mate X5 has an 8-megapixel camera in its front-facing camera. There are three cameras located on the device’s back: a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilization, and a 50-megapixel main camera.
