Huawei Mate 60 Pro is the world’s first smartphone with a triple punch hole display:
The release of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro today came as a surprise to everyone because Huawei did not precede it with a substantial teaser campaign or a significant event. The new smartphone can already be pre-ordered at the company’s online store in China, which is called Vmall. This gives local customers the opportunity to reserve their devices in advance.
The most intriguing aspect of the design is the presence of three punch holes in the display, within which Huawei concealed the front-facing camera and the 3D Time of Flight sensor. Aside from that, the phone is a progressive advancement in comparison to its predecessor in every other respect.
A massive 6.82-inch 10-bit LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2720 by 1260 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 hertz was among the components that Huawei brought along. In addition to the screen, the Mate 60 Pro features a second-generation Kunlun Glass on the top of the device.
The top of the device has three holes, and inside are the same components that can be found on the Mate 40 Pro and the Mate 50 Pro. These include a 13 MP ultrawide selfie camera, 3D face mapping sensors, and lasers.
In the circular opening on the back, there was room for three additional cameras. a well-known 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and phase detection autofocus, which can be found in both the Mate 50 Pro and the P60 Pro, and whose variable aperture ranges from f/1.4 to f/4.0. The ultrawide-angle camera has a 12 MP sensor and an f/2.2 lens, while the third shooter has a 48 MP sensor and a telephoto lens with an aperture of 3.0 and optical image stabilization and autofocus.
Within China, only the Huawei Mate 60 Pro offers support for satellite messaging. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, and it can be charged using 88W of wired power, 50W of wireless power, or 20W of reverse wireless power.
The Mate 60 Pro is the first phone to ship with HarmonyOS 4.0 as its default operating system. This distinction goes to the Mate 60 Pro. Sadly, Huawei did not provide any confirmation regarding the chipset that is utilized by the Mate 60 Pro.
